**Indian Actress Shilpa Shirodkar Tests Positive for COVID-19**

**New Delhi, India – May 19, 2025, 4:56 PM IST** – Popular Indian actress and television personality Shilpa Shirodkar has announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Shirodkar, currently in India and recovering at home, shared the news via her Instagram account, urging her followers to “Stay safe and wear your masks!”

Shirodkar, known for her roles in numerous Hindi films throughout the 1990s, took a hiatus from acting after appearing in MF Husain’s “Gaja Gamini” (2001). She returned to the screen with television roles after a 13-year break. Most recently, she participated in Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan.
