HYDERABAD, May 12, 2025 – The Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission (TGERC) has sworn in two new members, bringing the commission to full strength. Kancharla Raghu, a technical expert with extensive experience at TG-Transco, and C. Srinivasa Rao, a finance specialist with a background in the Indian Railway Accounts Service, were administered the oath by TGERC Chairman Devaraju Nagarjun.
Mr. Raghu’s career includes significant contributions to the planning and execution of numerous high-voltage substations and transmission projects, as well as the development of mini-hydroelectric power plants. Mr. Srinivasa Rao brings over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in the energy sector, with expertise in finance, accounts, and regulatory affairs. The ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials from the state’s power sector.
