**Bengaluru, May 5, 2025** – The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) will relocate all administrative and educational activities to its new campus in Ramanagara by March 2026, Vice-Chancellor Bhagavan B.C. announced on Monday. Construction of the ₹600 crore campus, which includes an administration building and medical college, is underway and currently 30% complete. While initial land acquisition delays caused some setbacks, the government has resolved the issue, and the contractor is now tasked with completing the project by December 2025, with full relocation by March 2026. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that RGUHS is financially stable, operating solely on student and college affiliation fees, currently holding ₹1,600 crore in its account. The university receives no state government funding.
