**HYDERABAD, INDIA (May 5, 2025)** – Azad Engineering, a Hyderabad-based precision engineering firm, announced a significant $53.5 million, six-year contract with GE Vernova’s Steam Power Services (SPS) business unit. The agreement, extending until 2030, will see Azad Engineering manufacture and supply highly engineered rotating and stationary airfoils for advanced nuclear, industrial, and thermal power industries.

This substantial contract builds upon an existing relationship between the two companies dating back to 2013. The agreement follows Azad Engineering’s recent inauguration of a new 7,600-square-meter lean manufacturing facility in Tunikibollaram, Hyderabad, specifically designed to meet the increased production demands.

Azad Engineering Chairman and CEO Rakesh Chopdar highlighted the company’s rigorous qualification process and commitment to advanced manufacturing capabilities. He emphasized the contract’s reinforcement of their investment in skilled talent and their dedication to delivering high-performance parts for GE Vernova’s advanced turbine systems. This latest deal follows a previous $35 million, seven-year contract secured in March 2024 with GE Vernova’s SPB.
