**HYDERABAD, INDIA (May 3, 2025)** – The University of Hyderabad (UoH) and Krismo Biosciences Private Limited have announced a collaboration to develop next-generation therapies for inflammatory diseases and serious infections. The partnership will focus on antibody-based treatments for viruses like dengue, COVID-19, and influenza, as well as bacterial toxins responsible for conditions such as gas gangrene.
The collaboration will encompass preclinical research and will seek research grants to advance the development of these novel therapeutics. The agreement brings together the academic expertise of UoH and the innovative capabilities of Krismo Biosciences, aiming to create affordable and effective treatments.
The initiative was facilitated by UoH’s Technology Enabling Centre (UoH-TEC), highlighting its role in bridging the gap between academic research and industry application. UoH-TEC emphasized its commitment to translating research into tangible products to address societal healthcare challenges.
