**TIRUNELVELI, May 1, 2025** – Water levels in two major Tamil Nadu dams remain low, according to Thursday’s readings. The Papanasam Dam registered a level of 85.80 feet (out of a maximum 143 feet), with an inflow of 72.41 cusecs and an outflow of 200 cusecs. The Manimuthar Dam showed a slightly lower level of 85.76 feet (out of a maximum 118 feet), with a minimal inflow of two cusecs and no outflow. While recent rains have contributed some inflow, the levels remain significantly below capacity.
