**Puducherry, April 17, 2025** – The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) concluded a two-week campus-wide cleaning drive as part of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ campaign. The initiative included a trilingual awareness video on solid waste management, shown to local schoolchildren, and an awareness rally led by JIPMER Medical Superintendent L. N. Dorairajan. Over 180 volunteers participated in a mass cleaning drive. The event culminated in a valedictory session where JIPMER Director Vir Singh Negi presented awards to participants in various competitions held throughout the fortnight. Several other JIPMER officials attended the closing ceremony.
