**TIRUVARURA, April 12, 2025** – A 30-year-old man died after a mud wall collapsed on his thatched house in Madapuram, near Thiruthuraipoondi, following heavy rainfall on Friday night. Police identified the victim as Anandraj, who was sleeping on an iron cot when the wall crumbled due to the downpour. His body was recovered from the debris and sent to the Government Hospital in Thiruthuraipoondi for a post-mortem examination.
