**Puducherry, April 5, 2025** – The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has strongly criticized the Puducherry government for its alleged inaction in resolving a two-month-long waste management crisis in the Yanam region. Party secretary A. Anbalagan, addressing a press conference on Saturday, blamed a political power struggle between the current Yanam MLA and a former minister for the breakdown in services.

Anbalagan highlighted that Yanam falls directly under the Puducherry Collectorate’s administrative control, yet the government has reportedly failed to intervene. He urged the administration to overcome its apathy and immediately address the escalating waste management problem.
