**Lucknow, India** – King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow has announced the recruitment of 733 Nursing Officers, with applications opening immediately. The positions are split between 626 general recruitment posts and 107 backlog recruitment posts, all falling under Level 7 of the pay matrix.

**Eligibility Requirements:**

Applicants must possess a BSc Nursing, BSc (Post Certificate), Post Basic BSc Nursing, or a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM). GNM diploma holders require two years of relevant experience. Registration with the Indian Nursing Council is mandatory. The age limit is 18-40 years as of January 1, 2025, with relaxation applicable as per university rules.

**Selection Process:**

Selection will be solely based on a Common Recruitment Test (CRT), eliminating the need for a personal interview. The two-hour CRT, containing 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), will be available in English and Hindi and may be conducted online or offline. The test will assess subject-related knowledge (60 marks), General English (10 marks), General Knowledge (10 marks), Logical Reasoning (10 marks), and Mathematical Aptitude (10 marks). One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, with a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer. A minimum score of 50% is required for General, OBC, and EWS categories, and 45% for SC and ST categories. Tie-breakers will prioritize higher scores in the core subject section, followed by fewer incorrect answers, and finally, age.
