**Vijayawada, April 5, 2025** – The Andhra Pradesh government has reduced bar license fees for three-star and above hotels, a move welcomed by the Andhra Pradesh Hotels Association. The fee has been slashed from ₹66 lakh to ₹25 lakh.
R.V. Swamy, president of the association, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Tourism Minister Kanula Durgesh, and Principal Secretary, Tourism Ajay Jain for heeding their request. Swamy stated that the reduction will boost the hotel industry, attract more tourists, and contribute to the state’s economic growth.
