**Indianapolis, IN** – Top Minor League Baseball prospects put on a dazzling display Thursday night, marking the final day of Triple-A action before further promotions. Two highly touted pitchers stole the show in a Cubs-Pirates doubleheader. Bubba Chandler (Pirates #1, MLB #14) of Indianapolis delivered 2 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out four, including three with his 98.7 mph fastball. In the second game, Cade Horton (Cubs #2, MLB #50) of Iowa matched Chandler’s performance, pitching 3 1/3 scoreless innings and striking out six.

Meanwhile, in other Triple-A games, offensive powerhouses also shined. Samuel Basallo (Orioles #1, MLB #12) of Norfolk hit a game-tying two-run homer, finishing 2-for-4. Jordan Lawlar (Diamondbacks #1, MLB #10) of Reno had a 3-for-4 performance with three RBIs, and Brady House (Nationals #3) of Rochester hit his first homer of the season and had a multi-hit game in both halves of a doubleheader. J.T. Ginn (Athletics #14) of Las Vegas set a career high with 11 strikeouts over six innings.

The action wasn’t limited to Triple-A. Friday promises even more excitement as several highly-ranked prospects are set to debut or continue their impressive starts at lower levels, including Chase Burns (Reds #1, MLB #25) and Noah Schultz (White Sox #1, MLB #15). Jac Caglianone (Royals #1, MLB #21) will make his Double-A debut. These games feature matchups between numerous top prospects, setting the stage for a weekend of intense minor league competition.
