**Hisar, April 4, 2025:** Haryana is experiencing a sudden change in weather, with cloudy skies and windy conditions expected. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for the state from April 7th to 9th. Temperatures have already climbed close to 40°C in some areas, with Hisar recording the highest daytime temperature of 39.2°C – 4.5°C above normal. Other cities like Karnal, Narnaul, Sirsa, Balsamand, and Mandkola also experienced daytime temperatures ranging from 37°C to 38.6°C. Night temperatures ranged between 11.8°C and 19.5°C.

Dr. Chandra Mohan, a meteorological expert, stated that the western and southern districts of Haryana experienced only a partial impact of this weather system, with afternoon cloud cover, strong winds, dust storms, and light showers in a few areas.

The plains of Haryana are experiencing a significant rise in temperatures. Meteorologists predict that temperatures in the western and southern districts will reach 40°C to 45°C after the second week of April, with a possibility of heatwaves in some areas even before the month’s end.
