The image depicts Prime Minister Narendra Modi walking ahead of a woman in a dark suit, prompting speculation that she was a member of the elite Special Protection Group (SPG). Ranaut, who shared the picture without comment, fueled the narrative.

However, security sources have clarified that the woman is not an SPG officer. She is, in fact, an Assistant Commandant of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and serves as a Personal Security Officer (PSO) to President Droupadi Murmu.
