Fri Apr 04 14:50:06 UTC 2025: ## Belagavi Law College Celebrates Golden Jubilee with Year-Long Events
**Belagavi, April 4, 2025** – KLE Society’s BV Bellad Law College is commemorating its 50th anniversary with a series of events spanning a year, starting with a walkathon for alumni this Sunday. The celebrations, which will conclude in July 2026, will also include a national legal fest, a legal appreciation conference, and a valedictory ceremony.
The 4km walkathon will be inaugurated by Society chairman Prabhakar Kore and is being jointly organized with the college’s alumni association. Principal Jyoti Hiremath announced the plans to reporters on Thursday.
Established in 1975, the college received a significant donation in 1982, leading to its renaming. It offers both three-year and five-year law courses and holds permanent affiliation with the Karnataka State Law University, UGC recognition, and Bar Council of India approval. Recently, the college achieved a B+ accreditation from NAAC in its third cycle.
