**Kalaburagi, Karnataka, April 4, 2025** – The city of Kalaburagi is gearing up for a grand celebration of Ram Navami on Sunday, April 6th. Multiple organizations have planned events, including processions featuring statues of Lord Ram and a blood donation camp.
The Ram Navami Utsav Samiti will lead a procession featuring a 15-foot-tall statue of Lord Ram, crafted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, who will be honored with a silver crown. The procession will start from Nagareshwar School in Nehru Gunj and culminate at Jagat Circle. Naga Sadhu Dhananjay Giri Baba from Bagalkot will also participate in the celebrations, marking the Samiti’s 12th year of commemorating Ram Navami.
Separately, the Shri Adi Purush Ramanavami Utsav Samiti will organize a procession with a 5-foot-tall statue of Lord Ram, starting from Ramtirth temple and passing through Aland check-post and Naka circle before reaching Jagat Circle.
Adding a philanthropic element to the festivities, the Nagarika Seva Samiti will hold a blood donation camp at Jagat Circle. The Samiti will also distribute copies of the Bhagavad Gita. The various events promise a vibrant and meaningful Ram Navami celebration in Kalaburagi.
