**Chennai, [Date]:** The Chennai Meteorological Centre has issued a warning of heavy rainfall across several districts of Tamil Nadu over the next three days. This forecast follows the development of two cyclonic circulations – one over the Comorin Sea and the adjoining areas, and another over Lakshadweep and its vicinity.
Light to moderate rain has already begun lashing several parts of the state, including Chennai and its suburbs, Chengalpattu, Madurai, Salem, and Pudukottai, since early this morning. The Met department predicts that moderate rain is likely to continue until 10 AM in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, and Perambalur districts.
Meanwhile, light rain is expected in several other districts including Ranipettai, Vellore, Salem, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
