**Bengaluru, March 14, 2025** – The Bengaluru Realty Expo 2025, organized by CREDAI Bengaluru, opened Friday showcasing a robust real estate market. The event, featuring 28 developers and six bankers, highlights significant growth in the city’s property sector.
According to Joohi Smita Sinha, Chief General Manager of State Bank of India, Bengaluru Circle, real estate constitutes 65% of SBI’s portfolio, reflecting the sector’s strength. Ms. Sinha noted that Bengaluru’s strong builder community results in projects often being fully booked upon launch.
Amar Mysore, President of CREDAI Bengaluru, revealed that Bengaluru’s annual housing demand currently stands at approximately 65,000 units, with projections of reaching 100,000 units soon. He emphasized the significant growth in emerging areas like Sarjapur Road, Whitefield, Hebbal, and Devanahalli, driven by proximity to IT hubs and improved infrastructure. These areas are expected to see annual property value increases of 8% to 12%.
The Expo offers a wide range of properties across residential, commercial, and luxury segments, reflecting the diverse and expanding nature of Bengaluru’s real estate market.
