**FLORHAM PARK, NJ** – The New York Jets are adding depth to their pass rush, agreeing to terms with free agent edge rusher Rashad Weaver on a one-year contract, NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported today.
Weaver, a former fourth-round pick of the Tennessee Titans (2021), spent three seasons with the Titans, recording 5.5 sacks. After brief stints with the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams practice squad in 2022, he’ll now join the Jets under new head coach Aaron Glenn.
The addition of Weaver provides valuable depth to a Jets pass rush that hopes to see the return of Jermaine Johnson from an Achilles injury.
