**Hubballi, Karnataka – March 12, 2025** – A musical tribute to the late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, a renowned Hindustani classical musician and Bharat Ratna recipient, will be held in Hubballi this Saturday. The “Swara Samrat” program, organized by Kshamata Samsthe in association with Gangubai Sangeet Vidyalaya and several corporate sponsors, will feature performances by prominent musicians including Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar (Pune), Pt. Kaivalya Kumar, and Pt. Venkatesh Kumar (both from Dharwad).

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi will inaugurate the event at 4:30 p.m. at the Sawai Gandharva Hall in Deshpande Nagar. The program is free to attend. Organizers emphasized the event’s significance as a celebration of Joshi’s legacy and contribution to Indian classical music.
