**Killeen, TX** – A 14-year-old girl was fatally stabbed during a fight with a classmate at Roy J. Middle School in Killeen, Texas, Monday morning. The incident, which occurred around 11:25 a.m., sent the school into lockdown and left the community reeling.
According to Killeen Police Department, the altercation between two female students escalated quickly, resulting in one girl being stabbed. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, transporting the victim to the hospital where she tragically succumbed to her injuries. The suspect, also a juvenile female, was apprehended at the scene. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
