**DHARWAD, March 11, 2025** – District chairman of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority, S.R. Patil, has instructed officials to swiftly process pending applications for the Yuva Nidhi and Gruha Lakshmi schemes. Chairing a review meeting in Dharwad on Monday, Mr. Patil highlighted the effective implementation of these schemes across the district and stressed the importance of ongoing monitoring.
He announced a shift in the Anna Bhagya scheme, with rice now replacing cash assistance. 15 kg of rice per household (including 5 kg for February arrears) will be distributed in March, with a subsequent 10 kg monthly distribution commencing in April.
Mr. Patil emphasized the need for increased public awareness, urging guarantee schemes committee members to actively inform citizens about the programs. Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Bhuvanesh Patil also participated, reviewing progress and offering implementation advice. Several vice-presidents of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority were also present at the meeting.
