**ERODE, March 11, 2025** – The Salem Railway Division announced today an eight-week extension for the weekly special train service connecting Erode and Sambalpur. The trains, which offer AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class accommodations, will now run until May 2nd.

Train No. 08311 (Sambalpur-Erode) departs Sambalpur at 11:55 a.m. every Wednesday, arriving in Erode at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday. Train No. 08312 (Erode-Sambalpur) leaves Erode at 2:45 p.m. every Friday, reaching Sambalpur at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday.

The extended service includes stops at several major stations along the route, including Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, and many others in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, before reaching Tamil Nadu. Passengers can book tickets for the extended period immediately.
