**Vijayawada, March 9, 2025** – The annual Rathotsavam of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Mangalagiri, Guntur district, is set to begin on March 14th at 3 p.m. This event is part of the larger Brahmotsavam festival, which commenced on March 5th.
Prior to the Rathotsavam, a Bangaru Garudotsavam will take place at 6 a.m. on March 14th, and the Kalyana Mahotsavam will be celebrated at midnight on March 13th. Extensive preparations are underway for these festivities.
In the days leading up to the Rathotsavam, a series of processions featuring the temple’s presiding deity and consorts will take place. These processions will utilize various vehicles, including Chinna Sesha Vahanam and Simha Vahanam (March 10th), Hamsa Vahanam and Gaja Vahanam (March 11th), Kalpavruksha Vahanam and Ponna Vahanam (March 12th), and finally Aswa Vahanam (March 13th).
IT Minister and Mangalagiri MLA Nara Lokesh extended a warm welcome to devotees, encouraging them to participate in the celebrations. Robust security measures have been implemented by the police.
