**New Delhi, [Date]** – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the provisional answer key for the recently concluded Constable (General Duty) recruitment examination. Over 52 lakh candidates applied for the 39,481 vacancies across various forces, including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, and the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The exam, held between February 4th and 25th, 2025, was a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 80 objective-type questions. Each correct answer was worth 2 marks, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam was offered in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.

Candidates can now access the provisional answer key on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The website provides a step-by-step guide to download the key and their response sheets. Candidates who disagree with any answers have a designated period to submit objections, after which the final answer key will be published. The final key will be determined following a review by a panel of experts.
