**Bengaluru, March 5, 2025** – A 42-year-old man with a criminal record was murdered Tuesday night at a bar in Soladevanahalli, Bengaluru. Jayaram K., a resident of Chikkabommasandra, was attacked by a gang of four armed with machetes. Witnesses reported the gang launched a brutal assault, forcing other patrons and bar staff to flee.
Police identified Jayaram as a history-sheeter with the Yelahanka New Town police station since 2016, with over half a dozen cases pending against him. The Soladevanahalli police have registered a murder case and launched a manhunt for the four assailants. The investigation is ongoing.
