**Beirut, Lebanon – March 4, 2025** – A deadly Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon has killed one person, according to Lebanese official media. The attack, targeting a vehicle in the Tyre district, comes despite a November 27 ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah that largely ended over a year of hostilities, including a two-month war.
While the truce halted major fighting, Israel has continued to conduct strikes in Lebanon. Recent attacks include the killing of a Hezbollah weapons smuggler on Friday, a strike on a Hezbollah observation post on Thursday, and the targeting of a Hezbollah militant on Wednesday.
