**Chennai, March 3, 2025** – Tamil Nadu residents can now apply for land surveys online, eliminating the need to visit taluk offices. The state government’s online portal, https://tamilnilam.tn.gov.in/citizen, launched in 2023, allows citizens to submit applications and make payments for land surveys. The service can also be accessed through e-service centers. Applicants will receive a text message confirming the survey date, and upon completion, the surveyed land drawing will be uploaded to https://eservices.tn.gov.in for download. While launched previously, the system is now being actively promoted to increase usage.
