HYDERABAD, [Date] – The counting of votes for the recently held MLC elections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is underway, with results for the three Teachers’ constituency seats declared and the counting for the three Graduate constituency seats continuing.

Early this morning, the counting process began, revealing the winners of the Teachers’ quota seats. In Uttar Andhra, Gade Srinivasulu Reddy secured victory. In Telangana, PRT U candidate Sripal Reddy won in the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal constituency, and BJP-backed Malka Komuraiah won in the Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad constituency. In Nalgonda, a second preference vote count was needed to determine the winner, with Sripal Reddy ultimately defeating the incumbent MLC Narsi Reddy.

Meanwhile, the counting for the Graduate quota seats is generating significant interest. In the Krishna-Guntur Graduates constituency, the United Front candidate, Alapaati Rajendra Prasad, is maintaining a substantial lead, with a majority of over 30,000 votes after three rounds of counting.
