**New Delhi, February 22, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the December 2024 session of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). Candidates can now access their scorecards, the final answer key, and cutoff marks on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The UGC NET exam, held from January 3rd to 27th, 2025, determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and PhD programs in Indian universities and colleges. Over 9 lakh candidates took the computer-based test (CBT) this session.

The NTA released a provisional answer key on January 31st, allowing candidates to raise objections until February 3rd. The final answer key, now available, reflects the resolution of these objections. Candidates can access their results using their login ID and password.

The UGC NET is conducted twice yearly, in June and December, and is a highly competitive exam attracting a large number of applicants.
