**Madurai, Tamil Nadu – February 20, 2025** – A 32-year-old railway station master, Anusekar, tragically died Thursday morning after falling from a moving train at Kalligudi railway station on the Virudhunagar-Madurai section. Anusekar, the station master at Kalligudi, attempted to board the departing Sengottai-Erode Express. He slipped and fell between the train and the platform, sustaining fatal injuries. Although the train was immediately halted, Anusekar was pronounced dead at the scene. The Government Railway Police are currently investigating the incident.
