**Mumbai, India** – Reliance Jio has launched a new ₹949 prepaid recharge plan that includes 90 days of free access to its newly integrated JioHotstar streaming platform. This follows the merger of Viacom18 and Star India, combining JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar into a single service.

The plan offers a compelling deal for budget-conscious users, providing 84 days of validity, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 2GB of daily high-speed data (reducing to 64kbps after the limit). The included JioHotstar access is limited to mobile devices and includes advertisements. A standalone three-month JioHotstar mobile plan typically costs ₹149.

For users seeking a premium experience, Jio offers standalone JioHotstar subscriptions. The ad-free Premium Plan costs ₹499 monthly (or ₹1,499 annually) and allows streaming on up to four devices simultaneously in 4K resolution. A more affordable ad-supported Super Plan is also available at ₹299 for three months (or ₹899 annually), supporting two devices.

Existing Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema subscribers can continue using their current plans until they expire. Afterward, they can opt for a standalone JioHotstar plan or choose the ₹949 Jio prepaid plan for continued mobile access with ads.

Jio’s move to bundle streaming access with its prepaid plans streamlines access to a vast library of content. While the ₹949 plan presents a cost-effective option for those comfortable with ads and mobile-only streaming, users requiring ad-free access and multi-device streaming will need to opt for a separate JioHotstar subscription.
