The WTA confirmed that a man displayed “fixated behavior” towards Raducanu, first approaching her in a public area and later appearing in the stands during her match against Karolína Muchová on Tuesday. The man was subsequently ejected and banned from all future WTA events pending a threat assessment.
Raducanu appeared visibly shaken by the incident, seeking comfort from the umpire and her opponent, Muchová, during the match, which Muchová ultimately won.
