**Jaipur, Rajasthan, February 11, 2025** – The third edition of the joint India-Egypt military exercise, Cyclone, commenced on February 10th at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. The nearly two-week-long exercise, involving 25 special forces personnel from each nation, will conclude on February 23rd.
According to a military spokesperson, Colonel Amitabh Sharma, the annual exercise, held alternately in India and Egypt, aims to strengthen military ties and enhance cooperation in special warfare tactics. This year’s focus includes counter-terrorism operations in desert environments, demonstrations of indigenous military equipment, and an overview of Egypt’s defense industry.
