**DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –** Chase Briscoe will lead the field to the green flag in Sunday’s Daytona 500 after capturing the pole position with a blistering lap of 182.745 mph during Wednesday night’s qualifying session. This marks Briscoe’s third career pole and the first Daytona 500 pole for Toyota. Austin Cindric will join him on the front row, having qualified second at 182.463 mph.

Past Cup Series champions Martin Truex Jr. and Jimmie Johnson secured their spots in the Daytona 500 based on speed, while other top qualifiers included Ryan Preece, Joey Logano, and Josh Berry. Drivers like Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson will have to fight for their starting positions in Thursday night’s Duel races, which will also determine the final two entries for the “Great American Race.” Several notable drivers, including Justin Allgaier and Helio Castroneves, will compete in the Duels for a coveted starting spot.
