This marks Briscoe’s third career pole and the first Daytona 500 pole for Toyota. Austin Cindric will join him on the front row, having qualified second at 182.463 mph.
Past Cup Series champions Martin Truex Jr. and Jimmie Johnson secured their spots in the Daytona 500 based on speed, while other top qualifiers included Ryan Preece, Joey Logano, and Josh Berry.
