**Nagapattinam, February 10, 2025** – The passenger ferry service connecting Nagapattinam, India, and Kankesanthurai, Sri Lanka, is set to resume operations on February 12th, after a suspension due to adverse weather conditions. Subham Ferry Services, a subsidiary of Subham Group, will operate the service six days a week (excluding Tuesdays).

According to Sundararaj Ponnusamy, Chairman and Managing Director of Subham Group, the company has introduced new travel packages aimed at middle-class travelers, including various Ramayana Yatra options. The return fare has been reduced to ₹8,500 from ₹9,700, and baggage allowances have been increased to a total of 70 kg (with 23 kg free). Onboard amenities have also been upgraded, with improved facilities, expanded snack options, and the addition of a duty-free shop.
