**Chennai, February 9, 2025** – The Tamil Nadu government announced a significant reshuffle of its top administrative officials on Sunday. The changes affect 15 key departments, as well as the Collectors of Coimbatore and Theni districts.

Several high-profile appointments were made, including P. Senthil Kumar as the new Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, and Supriya Sahu as the Secretary of Environment, Climate Change and Forests. J. Radhakrishnan will head TANGEDCO and the Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation Limited. Other key appointments include new secretaries for Public Works, Water Resources, School Education, Higher Education, Human Resources Management, Special Initiatives, Tourism, Culture and Endowments, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection, Commercial Taxes and Registration, Information Technology and Digital Services, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, and Welfare of Differently-Abled Persons.

The reshuffle also saw the appointment of new Collectors for Coimbatore (Pavankumar G. Giriyappavanar) and Theni (Ranjeet Singh), along with several other key administrative positions across various departments, including those related to archives, cooperative societies, shipping, textiles, and the National Health Mission. The changes also include appointments to key positions within the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority and other urban development bodies.

The government did not release a statement explaining the reasoning behind the reshuffle.
