**Hyderabad, India** – The highly anticipated Telugu romantic action thriller, “Thandel,” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is set to hit theaters on February 7th. The film, directed by Chandu Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu under the Geetha Arts banner, has already generated significant buzz, boasting record pre-release theatrical business for Chaitanya.
Advance booking figures are exceptionally promising, indicating a strong opening weekend. AndhraBoxOffice.Com reported all-India advance bookings of ₹3.56 crore (approximately $430,000 USD) from 2,801 shows, representing 19.05% occupancy. Andhra Pradesh alone saw ₹1.71 crore in advance bookings (22.06% occupancy), while Telangana reached ₹1.36 crore (22.9% occupancy). The film is projected to earn approximately ₹27.50 crore domestically, including ₹10.50 crore from the Nizam area (a region in Telangana). Overseas projections are around ₹6 crore, with a further ₹3.50 crore expected from the rest of India. To achieve box office success, “Thandel” needs to reach a ₹38 crore share or over ₹60 crore gross worldwide.
