**Nagpur, India** – Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved a significant milestone on Thursday, becoming only the fifth Indian cricketer to claim 600 international wickets across all formats. The achievement came during the first ODI against England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.

Jadeja took three crucial wickets – Joe Root, Jacob Bethell, and Adil Rashid – in a nine-over spell, conceding only 26 runs and bowling one maiden over. This performance contributed significantly to India’s victory. He joins an elite group including Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Kapil Dev in reaching this landmark.

England, batting first after winning the toss, got off to a strong start thanks to explosive innings from Phil Salt (43) and Ben Duckett (32). However, India fought back, restricting England to 248 in 47.4 overs. Besides Jadeja’s 3/26, Harshit Rana also impressed with figures of 3/53. Jos Buttler top-scored for England with 52 runs.

Jadeja also contributed with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 12 runs from 10 balls. The match showcased impressive performances from both teams, culminating in an exciting win for India.
