**Nagpur, India** – Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved a significant milestone on Thursday, becoming only the fifth Indian cricketer to claim 600 international wickets across all formats. The achievement came during the first ODI against England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
Jadeja took three crucial wickets – Joe Root, Jacob Bethell, and Adil Rashid – in a nine-over spell, conceding only 26 runs and bowling one maiden over. This performance contributed significantly to India’s victory. He joins an elite group including Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Kapil Dev in reaching this landmark.
England, batting first after winning the toss, got off to a strong start thanks to explosive innings from Phil Salt (43) and Ben Duckett (32).
