**Hyderabad, February 6, 2025** – Cyberabad police held a security coordination meeting with private establishments Thursday, outlining stricter regulations for pubs, bars, and other nightlife venues. Deputy Commissioner of Police Vineeth G. emphasized the crucial role of private security in maintaining public safety. He mandated that all private security agencies possess valid PSARA licenses and that security personnel avoid uniforms resembling those of law enforcement to prevent confusion. All guards must also carry official photo identification.
Establishments were instructed to conduct regular security checks, operate within permitted hours, and deploy trained personnel at entry and exit points to manage crowds.
