Wed Feb 05 06:50:00 IST 2025: ## Cavs Players Bowl for Charity in Strus’ “Bowl in the Land” Event

**Cleveland, OH** – Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Max Strus hosted a star-studded bowling event, “Bowl in the Land,” raising money for Northeast Ohio charities. The event, held Monday evening at Corner Alley, saw nearly the entire Cavaliers team, including Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley, bowling alongside fans. Head coach Kenny Atkinson and president of basketball operations Koby Altman also attended.

The event, inspired by a similar Chicago Bears fundraiser Strus participated in as a child, followed a record-breaking game against the Dallas Mavericks and preceded a crucial matchup against the Boston Celtics. Despite the demanding schedule, Strus expressed overwhelming gratitude for his teammates’ participation, highlighting their character and commitment to the community.

“Every player is here,” Strus said. “They’re all here to support, and that just shows you who they are as people. We’re having a great year on the court, but it’s an honor to be teammates with these guys.”

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit several local charities, with names to be announced soon. Strus emphasized his desire to give back to the Cleveland community, citing the unwavering support the Cavaliers receive from their fans.

“The amount of respect we have in the city and the support we constantly receive at every game… it feels like every game is sold out,” Strus stated. “I just want to give that back.”

The event also held personal significance for Strus, who was joined by his family, emphasizing their crucial role in his life and success. “My family is everything,” he said. “The amount of effort they’ve put in just to support me, it’s really hard to put into words.”
