Tue Feb 04 20:05:43 IST 2025: ## Two Killed in Separate Medchal Road Accidents
**Hyderabad, February 4, 2025** – Two people died and two others were injured in separate road accidents involving lorries in Medchal on Tuesday, police reported.
In the first incident, E. Ushappa, a 40-year-old laborer from Karnataka, was killed when his two-wheeler collided with a lorry at the Medchal checkpost. Two pillion riders, Bandari Anjaneyulu (23) and Chekunta Srinivasu (30), sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Police say Ushappa was attempting a U-turn when the accident occurred.
The second accident involved Sricharan, a 28-year-old resident of Kamareddy, who was fatally struck by a speeding lorry near Rekula Bavi X roads while traveling from Kamareddy to Medchal. The lorry ran over him after hitting his two-wheeler.
Police have not yet released the names of the lorry drivers involved in either accident. Investigations are ongoing.
