Mon Feb 03 12:15:30 UTC 2025: ## Father and Daughter Killed in Tamil Nadu Road Accident

**Namakkal, Tamil Nadu – February 4, 2025** – A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a 50-year-old man and his 22-year-old daughter in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu, on Sunday night. Saravanan (51), driving a lorry, collided with a two-wheeler carrying Sivasubramaniam, his daughter Sri Nidhi (22), and son Sri Karthikeyan (15). The accident occurred around 1 a.m. on the Mohanur-Paramathi Road.

Sivasubramaniam and Sri Nidhi were killed instantly. Their 15-year-old son, Sri Karthikeyan, sustained injuries and is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Coimbatore. The family was returning to their village in Tiruchi district after a visit to the Palani Murugan temple. Mohanur police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
