**Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia** – Four Indian players were named in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament, announced Monday. India’s triumph in the final against South Africa, securing their second consecutive title, was reflected in the selections.

Leading the Indian contingent is top scorer Gongadi Trisha, who amassed an impressive 308 runs at an average of 77.25 and a strike rate of 147. Her unbeaten 44 in the final, coupled with three wickets, solidified her place in the team. Joining Trisha is opening batter G Kamalini, whose consistent contributions, including a crucial 56 not out in the semi-final, earned her a spot. The Indian bowling attack is represented by Vaishnavi Sharma, who claimed a remarkable 17 wickets at an average of 4.35, including a record five-wicket haul with a hat-trick, and Aayushi Shukla, who took 14 wickets.

South Africa’s captain, Kayla Reyneke, was named captain of the Team of the Tournament, a testament to her inspiring leadership throughout the competition. She also contributed 11 wickets. Other notable selections include Jemma Botha (South Africa), Davina Perrin (England), Caoimhe Bray (Australia), who excelled with both bat and ball, taking seven wickets, and Nepal’s Puja Mahato, who was named the all-rounder of the tournament for her impressive batting and bowling performances.
