Mon Feb 03 12:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Bellevue Schools Announce 2-Hour Delay Due to Ice

**BELLEVUE, WA [February 2, 2025]** – Bellevue School District (BSD) announced a two-hour delay for all schools on Monday, February 3, 2025, due to icy road conditions. Classes will begin two hours later than the regular schedule.

The district cited safety concerns as the reason for the delay. BSD will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide further updates via email, text message, social media, their website (bsd405.org), and phone calls. Parents and staff are encouraged to check the district’s Emergency Closures webpage for detailed information on closure procedures.

Partner programs, including Right at School and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue, will follow the BSD schedule. Before-school programs are cancelled due to the delay. Boys & Girls Clubs locations will be closed if the district is closed and will close affected locations in the event of power outages. Parents should contact their child’s program directly for specific scheduling information.

The district acknowledged that it is located on the traditional land of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Duwamish, Muckleshoot, and Snoqualmie peoples.
