**Mumbai, February 2, 2025** – Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar received the prestigious Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the BCCI Naman Awards 2025 on Saturday. The award caps a remarkable career spanning 24 years, during which Tendulkar set numerous batting records, including the highest number of Test and ODI runs. In a heartfelt tweet, Tendulkar attributed his success to his coaches, teammates, fans, and family. He urged current players to cherish their careers and avoid distractions.

Jasprit Bumrah, India’s leading pace bowler, was named the Polly Umrigar Award winner for Best Men’s International Cricketer of 2023-24, recognized for his outstanding performances, including a pivotal role in India’s home series wins and a Player of the Series performance against Australia.

Smriti Mandhana secured the Best International Women’s Cricketer award for 2023-24, adding to her previous wins. Her 747 runs in 2024, including four centuries, solidified her position as the highest run-scorer.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who recently retired from international cricket, received a special award, reflecting his significant contribution to Indian cricket with 537 Test wickets. Sarfaraz Khan and Asha Sobhana were awarded Best International Debut awards for men and women respectively. Other awards included recognition for top domestic performers and umpires.
