**Amaravati, February 1, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh BJP president Daggubati Purandeswari has lauded the new Income Tax Bill, claiming it will boost the Indian economy and benefit the middle class. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she stated the bill embodies the spirit of “nyay” (justice), simplifying tax procedures and reducing litigation.

Ms. Purandeswari highlighted several key budget provisions, including a new ₹20,000 crore Nuclear Energy Mission aimed at developing small modular reactors, with at least five operational by 2033. She also emphasized the creation of a ₹20,000 crore “Fund of Funds for Startups,” doubling existing government contributions to foster entrepreneurship. Furthermore, she noted the government’s plan to register approximately one crore gig workers on the e-Shram portal, providing them with healthcare benefits under PM-Jan Arogya Yojana.

The BJP leader attributed India’s rapid economic growth to the government’s structural reforms over the past decade, believing the new tax scheme will further accelerate growth by increasing household consumption, expenditure, and investment.
