**NEW DELHI, February 1, 2025** – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi’s Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 is scheduled for tomorrow, February 2nd. Thousands of aspiring students will be vying for admission to Master of Science (MSc) and integrated MSc-PhD programs at 22 IITs and other participating institutions.

IIT Delhi has issued a comprehensive list of guidelines for candidates. Applicants must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination center. Biometric data (fingerprints and/or photographs) will be collected for verification purposes, so candidates are urged to keep their fingertips clean and free from any coatings like henna or ink.

The use of all electronic devices, including mobile phones (even switched off), smartwatches, and calculators, is strictly prohibited. Candidates are also forbidden from bringing any printed, scanned, or handwritten materials into the examination hall. Any communication between candidates is strictly forbidden. Tampering with examination computers will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.

IIT Delhi has warned that any attempt to use unfair means, whether detected during the exam or later, will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature, a ban from future JAM exams, and potential legal action. The institute stresses the importance of adherence to these rules for a fair and transparent examination process.
