Sat Feb 01 19:50:00 IST 2025: ## Bangladeshi Man Reunites with Family After Decade-Long Separation in Andhra Pradesh
**Nagaayalanka, Andhra Pradesh, January 31, 2025** – A Bangladeshi national, Md. Uddin, has been reunited with his family after spending ten years in a Nagaayalanka police station. Uddin was apprehended in 2013 in Nachugunta village for illegally entering India without proper documentation. He was subsequently sentenced to two years imprisonment.
Upon completion of his sentence, Uddin remained at the police station, unable to locate his family. Despite efforts by previous Station House Officer (SHO) Subrahmanyam, his family could not be traced.
However, the current SHO, Rajesh, took a different approach. He posted Uddin’s photograph on social media platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram. This led to his family identifying him, contacting the Nagaayalanka police.
Confirming the kinship, Krishna district SP has ordered Uddin’s handover to his family at the Bangladesh border. SHO Rajesh expressed immense satisfaction at finally facilitating the reunion after years of unsuccessful searches. This heartwarming event highlights the power of social media in reuniting families separated by circumstances.
