**NEW DELHI** – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a major recruitment drive, opening up 32,438 Group D positions across Indian Railways. Applications open tomorrow, February 21st, 2025, and close on February 22nd, 2025.

The vacancies are for Level 1 positions across various departments, including Track Maintainer Grade-IV and Technical Departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T), encompassing roles such as Helper/Assistant and Assistant Pointsman.

Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official RRB website. Those who created accounts for previous Indian Railways recruitments in 2024 can use the same credentials. New applicants must create an account before applying. Note that account details cannot be modified after creation.

The selection process is multi-staged, including a 90-minute Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 questions (covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV), Medical Examination (ME), and final Empanelment.
